10th Grade Curriculum

Tenth grade is when students should find themselves as more comfortable in their environment as sophomores in high school. Grade 10 students will continue to increase text complexity reading literature, world literature and informational texts while improving cross discipline literacy in History/Social Studies and Science. Tenth graders may cover Algebra I, Algebra II, or Geometry. Science usually covers Biology or Chemistry and Social Studies may begin to cover global world history, geography, European history, World Studies, or United States History.
